Commission management, pre-launch

Commissions run on one person's spreadsheet. Until now.

Jovanor reads closed-won deals from Salesforce or HubSpot, runs them through your comp plan, and gives every rep a live statement of what they earned and what they are on pace to earn. Finance gets ASC 606 schedules. Nobody gets a dispute thread.

Built for B2B teams of 20 to 500 reps. Launching with a small design partner cohort.

88%

of large spreadsheets contain at least one formula error, per published audit research. Comp spreadsheets are among the largest.

3 to 5%

of total commission spend is commonly lost to manual calculation errors and quiet overpayments that no one ever claws back.

1 week

is what the start of each month costs many RevOps teams: reconciling shadow spreadsheets, chasing disputes, and re-running payouts.

What Jovanor does

One system of record, from plan design to the finance ledger

Your comp plan should live somewhere everyone can see, not in cell logic only one person understands.

Design plans visually

Build tiers, accelerators, SPIFs, and clawback rules in a visual editor. Test any plan against last quarter's actual deals before you roll it out, so surprises show up in a sandbox instead of a payroll run.

Calculate from the CRM

Jovanor syncs closed-won data from Salesforce and HubSpot and computes every payout automatically each month. Splits, currency conversion, and mid-period plan changes are handled by rules, not by memory.

Close the books cleanly

Every statement carries a full audit trail down to the deal. Finance exports ASC 606 amortization schedules directly, so commission expense stops being a quarter-end scramble and a line of auditor questions.

How it works

Live in weeks, not a quarter

Most teams go from spreadsheet to first automated payout run within one payroll cycle.

1

Model your plan

Recreate your current comp plan in the builder, or start from a template. Run it against historical deals and compare the output to what you actually paid. Discrepancies surface immediately.

2

Connect your CRM

Authorize Salesforce or HubSpot in a few clicks. Jovanor maps deal amounts, close dates, owners, and splits, then keeps everything in sync. No CSV uploads, no month-end exports.

3

Reps see live statements

Every rep gets a statement that updates as deals close: earned to date, projected payout, and exactly which tier each dollar came from. The shadow spreadsheets retire on their own.

Pricing

Priced per rep, honest from day one

Annual billing. Admin and finance seats are always free. No implementation fee during early access.

FAQ

The questions RevOps leaders actually ask

How does Jovanor handle clawbacks and split deals?
Both are first-class rules, not workarounds. You define a clawback window per plan, say 90 days from close, and if a deal churns or a payment fails inside that window, Jovanor computes the reversal and applies it to the rep's next statement with the original deal linked. Splits are set at the deal level, by percentage or fixed amount across any number of reps, and each rep's statement shows only their share with the split noted.
What does the audit trail actually cover?
Every number on every statement traces back to source: the CRM deal, the plan version in force on the close date, the rule that fired, and who approved the run. Plan edits are versioned with author and timestamp. When your auditor asks why a rep was paid $4,896 in accelerator last March, the answer is one click, not an archaeology project through old spreadsheet copies.
Which CRMs do you support, and what happens if our data is messy?
Salesforce and HubSpot at launch. During onboarding we run your last two quarters of closed-won data through your rebuilt plan and reconcile against what you actually paid. That process usually surfaces the messy fields, duplicate owners, missing close dates, ambiguous splits, before your first live run, which is exactly where you want to find them.
Can we change a comp plan mid-quarter without breaking payouts?
Yes. Plans are versioned with effective dates. Deals closed before the change date stay on the old terms and deals after it use the new ones, automatically. You can also preview the financial impact of a proposed change against current-quarter deals before you commit to it.
We are pre-launch curious but risk-averse. What does early access involve?
A small cohort, a real contract, and honest terms. You keep running your spreadsheet in parallel for the first month while we reconcile Jovanor's output against it, line by line. You switch when the numbers match and not before. Early access pricing is locked for two years, and if we are not a fit you walk away with a cleaner comp dataset than you started with.

Next month's payout run can be the last one you dread
